Remote Queer is a newsletter and online community for LGBTQ+ remote workers and digital nomads. As remote professionals who have been traveling the world for almost a decade, Matt and Saul created Remote Queer to fill a niche in the digital nomad space and make it more welcoming for LGBTQ+ participants. We cover topics like:
- remote work and travel
- housesitting and petsitting
- visas and residency requirements
- overtourism and gentrification
In addition to our online resources, we also offer workshops to organizations that want to increase their LGBTQ+ inclusivity and accessibility.

I’m a freelance writer specializing in remote work and travel content. I’ve written extensively about visas, taxes, remote work accommodations, and more for global travel brands and HR platforms. Check out my writing portfolio here.
I love hiking, biking 🚲, and bouldering, and when I’m not working, you’ll often find me on an outdoor adventure. I’m also a frequent dog- and cat-sitter 🐕 😺, occasional massage therapist, and performer at open mics 🎸.
You can book a call with me or buy me a bike ride here.
